Throughout my childhood, my mom taught sewing lessons in the Western New York area, and my dad was a woodworker. As I was exposed to the endless items you could create yourself, I slowly fell in love with the process of creating, especially through sewing. At the age of 10, I had learned the basics of sewing and made my first quilt (pictured below under Tradition). Throughout my adult life, the passion to create has continued, grown, morphed, and expanded. Now, I have combined my passion for quilting and my desire to share with others. I am so thrilled to be on this creating journey with you!
For me, quilting represents tradition, joy, and creativity.

Having been taught by my mother, a skill she had learned from her grandmother, sewing is part of our family history. This rich history of creating handmade items is something that I hope to pass on to generations to come. The beauty of modern quilting is acknowledging tradition and expanding beyond it to add a flair indicative of present times.
I have a deep passion for creating handmade items. I find so much happiness in creating an original piece of artwork that someone can cherish forever.
For me, quilting is a form of art. Handcrafting a quilt, pillow, or throw is where I get to explore my creativity. It is my island of calm amongst the chaos of the busy world around us.
I hope you see something on this site that resonates with you. Let's work together to create something beautiful!
